Being a wedding painter goes beyond just business. Witnessing and capturing the happiest moments of people’s lives feels almost miraculous, what goes on a canvas is my pure love for the world, illustrated through my vision and mind.
This was an unusual commission, the 10"x21" acrylic on masonite painting will be a part of a large mirror frame. Painted to resemble a classical American folk art it is also a functional art being used as an interior accent.
Toronto Series
5″x7″, acrylic on masonite. Inspired by the city of Toronto. Shown at the Small Works Exhibition, Westmount Gallery.
Aquarium
12"x16" painting of a Hamilton restaurant for a client, this is going to be her gift to someone. Smaller affordable artworks like this make a unique gift idea that will last a lifetime.
iPad Pro and Pencil
The 12.9-inch tablet beast has arrived at my studio and instantly became a natural part of my creative workflow. The elusive, almost unobtainable, Pencil was waiting for me at the Apple Store Yorkdale (Toronto), thanks to a manager who kindly took the matter into her own hands.
Having gone through multiple styli solutions, including JaJa and Adonit Jot Touch, I could say Apple Pencil works right out of the box and combined with a larger drawing surface of the Pro, high resolution and the elegance of Procreate software this easily gives us the best input tools an artist could have in a recorded history of mankind.
